Word 2007 shrink the ribbon

The Ribbon takes up a fair bit of space is there a way to make it smaller?
Right click anywhere in the Ribbon.
Select 'Minimise the Ribbon' from the list.
The Ribbon is now minimised giving your addition screen space.
